Velvet is a zine inspired by queer print media history. Each page has a unique backstory with inspirations and references tied to specific artists, movements and specific events within queer history.  The name is a reference to the velvethorn deer which never lose the velvet on their antlers and the feel of the ink dried on paper. Created using Photoshop, Illustrator, and screen printing techniques.
